When I first started getting into Tarot, I kept reading about people with dozens, if not hundreds — we’re talking plastic tubfuls — of Tarot decks. I thought, Huh, wow, how is that even possible?
<Two weeks pass>…well, friends, I can tell you that when it comes to Tarot, anything’s possible.
No, I did not buy a hundred decks in two weeks. (Just one). But I made a list of future decks I would love — hence, Future Deck Friday….
Sun and Moon Tarot / Simple, yet diverse with fairly classic imagery.
Tarot of Trees / Because TREES.
Eight Coins Tattoo Tarot / I think I’m more into tattoo stylized art on Tarot cards than on people.
Gipsy Tarot (Out Of Print) / Traditional yet funky, like the artwork of an ancient church.
Tarot of the Old Path / Very courtly but with a twist (some Major Arcana names are changed).
Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot / The classic Rider-Waite re-colorized.
COSMOS Tarot & Oracle / Made by multiple artists, making each card unique.
Chakra Wisdom Oracle / Because anything involving Chakras is pretty. I love art with lots of color.
Earthly Souls & Spirits Oracle / For a darker pagan flavor…trying to push myself past my comfort zone of ALL THE COLORS.
That’s it! Nine decks isn’t bad, right? Granted, I know the list will get longer… actually, I hope it does because the alternative is that it gets shorter because I’ve bought all the decks! …oh dear….
Happy Future Deck Friday!
